Set on more than six hundred beautiful acres and featuring more than 50,000 sq. feet of indoor riding areas, Fire Stables is the largest equestrian facility in the Kansas City area and a focused Morgan Horse stable. It also happens to be located right behind Cameron's parents house, so the couple is pretty familiar with the venue! Fire Stables is the perfect wedding venue for Elicia and Cameron, offering both indoor and outdoor weddings with receptions indoors. With a little over 250 guests on Elicia and Cameron's guest list, Fire Stables has plenty of room to accommodate all of their family, friends and loved ones. The one key feature that sold Elicia? The gazebo! "It brings an added elegance to the already beautiful venue," said Elicia.
Of course we can't show you the dress just yet (you'll have to wait for the big day!) but only after trying a few dresses on did Elicia fall in love with the perfect dress for her wedding day at The Gown Gallery in the Crossroads. We CAN tell you the dress is simply beautiful, an ivory gown with delicate lace accents. It fits Elicia perfectly.
Everybody loves tacos, right? Elicia and Cameron are big fans of Drunken Worm, an authentic tequila and taco bar in Midtown Kansas City, specializing in street tacos and authentic tamales, and a large selection of authentic Mexican dishes. So why not have Drunken Worm cater the wedding? Guests will dine on delicious tacos, queso and guacamole (and maybe even some tasty margaritas!)
When it came to selecting a photographer to document their special day, Shana Wooley at W the Studio was the perfect fit for Elicia and Cameron! With a passion for photography and thoughtful design, W the Studio leaves a lasting impression by combining strong visuals, powerful storytelling and the best-in-class production to create the perfect setup for your wedding day (or any special occasion.) We can’t wait to see all of the beautiful memories captured on Elicia and Cameron’s wedding day!
Great music and a great DJ will take your wedding reception to the next level! That’s why Elicia and Cameron chose Four Star Entertainment for their big day. With raving reviews and over 20 years of experience, Four Star Entertainment takes pride in being one of the top wedding DJ services in Kansas City! The best part? Elicia and Cameron’s guests will be able to send song requests directly to Four Star Entertainment prior to their wedding date – ensuring all guests will be able to dance the night away to their favorite tunes!
The sweetest part of every wedding – the cake! Cameron is not much of a cake person, but he is a big fan of cheesecake. For their wedding, Elicia and Cameron decided to go with a dessert bar consisting of Mini Cheesecakes and Cake Pops from McLain's Bakery. McLain's Bakery has been a Kansas City classic since they opened their doors in 1945, creating some of the best desserts and pastries in the area. As for Elicia and Cameron's wedding cake, they decided on a bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Even Cameron can agree the decadent, slowly melting Nothing Bundt Cake is simply delicious!
Being in the jewelry business themselves, Cameron knew he had to go above and beyond when it came to selecting the perfect ring for Elicia. Of course, Elicia knew exactly what she wanted! She chose a white gold cathedral solitaire ring because it is simple and timeless. Similar to the graceful arches of a cathedral, this ring setting uses white gold arches to hold the solitaire diamond in place creating an elegant appearance. As for the 4Cs of diamond quality? Elicia's diamond is a G in color, Excellent in cut, SI2 in clarity and .97 carats.
Cameron’s black zirconium ring features a silver exterior surface complimented by an offset yellow gold inlay. If you're looking for an alternative to titanium, platinum, or tungsten, a black zirconium ring offers the same durability in a stylish and incredibly unique piece of jewelry. The ring has a brushed exterior and a polished black interior. He chose a black zirconium ring because of their extreme durability and comfort.
