Joslin’s is saddened by the loss of Mrs. Olive May Joslin.
Known as “Mimi,” this affectionate and darling woman passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the age of 90. Mimi was born in Seiling, Oklahoma to Loren and Elnora (Turner) McDaniel.
She is preceded in death by her husband Donald A. Joslin and son, Donnie Joslin.
Mimi enjoyed 37 wonderful years in the jewelry business in Overland Park, Kansas; she spend many days in her sons’ jewelry store welcoming and caring for many clients. Mimi was also called “the hugger” and created many sweet friends over the years. The family jewelry business has grown and is well-known for the Joslins’ excellent craftsmanship, careful restoration and kindhearted service. While the company has developed and includes more members, Mimi’s presence is one that will be greatly missed by immediate family and clientele alike.
Mimi adored her family and was always delighted to spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son Gary Joslin and his wife Sarah; by her granddaughters Elicia Joslin Pfannenstiel (and her husband Cameron Pfannenstiel), Jessica Orr, and Ashley Joslin; and by her great-grandchildren Joslin and Jasper
Mrs. Olive May is greatly loved and will be terribly missed.
